    @geiuy I recall reading something that skin pigmentation doesn’t matter with the sun. Double check that though. I started taking vit D3 last fall (Sept) but I believe I started with lower doses and gradually increased it. I can’t say when it started to work though, it was only this spring when I went back to work that I noticed being able to lift things easily that I couldn’t before. I’m also taking other vitamins and probiotics. Whether that makes a difference I don’t know.

    @Ersabette hi,i’m planning on taking them too.i have dark skin i never stay at the sun.when did you start noticing the difference?cuz i heard it takes time for your blood vitamin d level to raise.

    I have been taking 5000IU of vit D for a few months now and I have noticed increased strength and I have not been doing any weight lifting. I’m eager to see what happens during the upcoming summer months as I plan on enjoying as much of the sun as I can!
