When I began the raw food diet, I couldn’t get out of bed by day three. My head was spinning, I was so weak…haha,
I didn’t give up though. Almost 5 minutes after I ate a little fat(avocado), I was perfectly fine.
Its been 2 months and it’s been going great :))

hey Natasha! I am on day 3 raw, after being vegan for 2 years. I stumbled upon this video and wow! It must be in the stars. You are a motivation for me! Keep up the excellent work! Peace and Love!

@Lesbiana31 Breakfast: Banana and strawberry or blueberry as a smoothie. Sometimes 2 pieces of toast with that. Lunch: A large salad of spinach leaves and any type of veggies i want on top with regular dressing (usually ranch or something). No cheese or chicken or bacon bits or croutons. Dinner: Nori rolls made of avocado, almonds chopped up, carrot slices, and alfalfa sprouts. I dip it in Liquid Aminos. I have noticed usually in the evening I’m not too hungry.

I am on day 8 with my Raw Food Diet and have been feeling awesome! In the morning I make a juice, usually with lemon, blueberry and apple, then for lunch I make myself a green juice and in the day I snack on some nuts and fruit :) And whats’ really cool is that I feel really good all day and am never starving! I love your videos and find them very helpful and inspiring!!! :)

  9. girlygirlaura

    @ramonalisa Thanks, I will try that. :)

why does the camera move a little bit as you talk ?

  11. naza959

you answered my question, thank you! yes, the raw food diet is definitly strict. I’m looking to loose weight fast, and thought I shouldn’t eat stuff like bananas or nuts and seeds. I still wont eat a lot of bananas, but will a bit of nuts

  12. beautiforever81

Wow your getting a tan!!! Looking fabulous!!

  13. hmstudiomakeup

Also…. I went from eating 3 fast food meals a day to 80% raw. By eating the nuts, seeds, oils and avocados has kept me going. The energy factor is so true! I went from sleeping 12 hours on some days (weekend avg.) to sleeping only 5-7 hours each night and I feel more refreshed than ever. I have so much energy that when I finish my workouts I want to do it again and have done it twice and still had energy. For anyone that is riding the fence on this lifestyle change, please just try it!

@ramonalisa thank you for taking the time to respond, I’ve started jucing lots of veggies in the last few weeks which has had beneficial efects but nit weight gain-yet
, have been incresing fruits and veg for many a month now, have always eaten well though, avoided additives/processed etc , eating organic oils/ nuts and such too

will definately look into the book. thanks

Natasha, you always have the best advice! I am more than 100 lbs overweight and have tried a gazillion diets. Nothing has worked. I’ve been watching your videos for the past month and just in that short amount of time I have gone at least 80% raw. I have dropped 13.5 pounds as of today and just this past week started to exercise. I eat at least one avocado every day or every two days and nuts all the time. I think those two things have been my “saviors” for this transition! Thanks Natasha

@VonLeachim you are right its not only about weight loss, I have a son who used to be underweight. since we changed our lifestyle and started alkalizing he has gained about 10 pounds. we stopped eating meat and ate lots of veggies, steamed and raw. avocados and good oils and seeds, some fish(not much though). read the book called the ph miracle by robert younge…he and his wife help you understand your body chemistry and help you bring your body into balance. worth it for sure. good luck

  17. ramonalisa

@girlygirlaura I started by steaming frozen veggies for breakfast and lunch, and I still eat steamed root veggies, but less of carrots and only new potatoes (but only about once a week. You don’t have to do it all at once. I lost 50 pounds in a year and my son lost 40. you just keep adding more raw to it as you learn cool new recipes. start steamed with healthy extra virgin olive oil and herbamare seasoning. worked wonders for me. good luck

  18. ramonalisa

I agree…if your focus is on getting healthy, the weight will go on its own. I lost 50 pounds in 1 year and I am sure that I will loose the last 20 /30 pounds within the next year. I have gained energy and my arthritis has improved so much. Just work on alkalizing your body with lots of green juices and smoothies. great advice RRH

@mshealthfirst I just watched that over the weekend! You’re right, YUCK!…I recommend everyone to watch it.

  20. VonLeachim

everyhting all about weight loss, these days
please could you do a video on weight gain ?

    - I’ve troble putting weight on… and most everone is talking about losing it …

  21. mshealthfirst

I will say eating a raw food diet will be alot easier if you watch the documentary Food, inc. MAJOR YUCK !!!!!! I dont eat a totally raw diet, but I certainly eat sooo much more raw now. eating clean, fresh veggies and fruits and nuts, whole grains.. (true whole, organic, not “enriched” junk) is how I eat. I wish I could cut out the organic yogurt, that is a major hurdle for me.

  22. girlygirlaura

I’d love to try the raw food diet. Its just so intense. I think I’d go bonkers if I couldnt eat cooked food. I am going to start eating more fruits and veggies though. It’s a start. I desperately wanna lose 15 to 35 more pounds.

  23. hana0041
