So this is the first time I heard you mention you eat meat. From someone who promotes raw foods etc i thought you would have known a little more about proteins and the digestion of meat in the body as well as the effects of animal fats in the body.

this is hilarious…. i’ve been living in Jordan (middle east) almost my whole life and i have been buying and consuming grassfed beef and lamb the whole time i was living there and i thought it was expensive. a KG of pure grassfed meat is about the equivalent of 15 dollars there. so I recently moved to canada, and a KG of grassfed meat here is SIXTY DOLLARS!!! what is going on?? lol grassfed meat in jordan is two times cheaper than the GRAIN-FED meat in canada.

@CRANROW True,but what you expect the packing plant to do? They know nothing about the meat till after they buy the cow and slaughter it. And of course they are also scared shit less right now cause they don’t want someone taking a pic of a cow with ANY kind of out word deformity cause of PETA and shit. Plus I got a dog and he’s eating so many nasty things,idk if steroid cow meat would faze a dog.

grass fed can mean that they got some grass thrown in with the grain in the feed lot. similarly, free range just means they had the opportunity to go out in a small yard, even if they never did go.
in any case, if everyone said no to meat raised in the usual commercial factory farming ways the world could be changed for the better
what do you say with regards to halal meat? or meat that is killed in a certain way? is that healthier if you have meat that has had its throat slit or meat that has been killed by electrecution.

As a police officer, I really dont get paid enough to eat healthy. We got on food stamps and now I look at my buggy and the ones that the “productive citizens” have and I feel a lot better about the stamps. I have fresh salmon, and turkey and lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I can eat healthy and not go broke doin it. I will get off the stamps if I ever make enough money to eat right, but till then…keep it comin Obama.
